## System

Use one consistent outline icon family per interface. The website standard is
Lucide-style geometry: simple strokes, rounded joins, and recognizable forms.

## Rules

- Default stroke: 1.5-2px at a 24px canvas.
- Common sizes: 16px inline, 20px controls, 24px feature labels.
- Match icon colour to adjacent text unless it indicates an interactive state.
- Every icon-only control needs an accessible name.
- Prefer familiar symbols over custom metaphors.
- Use official brand icons for third-party platforms.

## Avoid

- Emoji used as interface icons
- Mixing filled, outlined, 3D, and hand-drawn styles
- Decorative icons that repeat the visible label without adding meaning
- Unlicensed or unofficial third-party marks
- Signal-blue icons that falsely imply every item is clickable
